Pet Policy
The Isles of Scilly Country Guesthouse is a pet friendly establishment that understands your pets are very much an extension of your family and as such we wish to make their stay with us as comfortable and as pleasant as possible. Well behaved domestic pets of all types, except some aggressive breeds of dog, are always welcome.
SERVICE ANIMALS ACCOMPANYING GUESTS WITH DISABILITIES ARE ALWAYS WELCOME AND ARE PERMITTED ACCESS TO ANY PART OF THE GUESTHOUSE IN THE COMPANY OF THEIR OWNERS.
Pets are charged at a rate of £2.00 per night; we allow a maximum of 2 pets per room.
All pets and Service Animals accompanying guests must be made known to us at the time of booking. The Isles of Scilly Country Guesthouse kindly requests that all pet owners take full and proper responsibility for their pets.
To ensure a great stay with your four legged or furry friend please take a few moments to read our pet friendly guesthouse policy.
1. Only domestic pets that weigh less than 45 pounds are permitted to stay at the guesthouse. Pets over 45 pounds may under special circumstances be permitted to stay at the guesthouse at the discretion of the owner.
2. Pets are not to be left unattended in their room at any time for more than 1 hour. If guests are having an evening meal at the guesthouse we suggest that you might like to take a minute or two between courses to check on your pet.
3. Pets where appropriate are to be kept on a lead while not in their rooms and anywhere else within the guesthouse or on its grounds.
4. The guest is responsible for the behaviour and noise the pet creates and will try and ensure that the pet does not in any way harm or disrupt the quiet enjoyment of other guests.
5. Please be considerate of other guests and clean up after your pet if necessary.
6. We regret that pets are not allowed in the breakfast or dining room during times of service to other guests, THIS EXCLUSION DOES NOT APPLY TO SERVICE ANIMALS.
7. The guest agrees to pay the guesthouse any reasonable charges for damage or repair resulting from your pet.
Description
The Guesthouse offers both personal space for the visitor and areas for socilising, indoors and out.Watermill the most secluded beach on St Mary´s is only 8 minutes walk away. And there are other wonderful walks to the North of the island all within easy reach.
The Guesthouse has been refurbished and redecorated to a high standard. We have 4 double rooms; a family suite, which comprises of a twin and a double room with a shared bathroom and 7 single rooms. All our bedrooms are ensuite and have tea and coffee making facilities, digital televisions and hair dryers.
There is a large sitting area, dining room and kitchen area for guests to use at any time and a barbeque for those balmy Summer evenings. We also offer 3 evening meals per week, if you would rather stay in.
A full English Breakfast is served between 08:00 and 09:00 and a Continental Breakfast until 10:00.

The Isles of Scilly Country Guesthouse is situated in the heart of rural St Mary´s and is about a 25 minute walk from Hugh Town and the quay.
There are taxis available to pick you up from the airport or quayside if you have heavy items of luggage, but if you are a lighter traveller nowhere is far too far walk. The Isles only have 8 miles of road but over 100 miles of footpaths for you to explore and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
