PetsAllowed.co.uk is an independent website portal and directory which allows owners and operators of UK-based pet-friendly businesses (hotel and holiday accommodation; pubs, restaurants and cafes; and visitor attractions) to list and advertise their services (“Advertisers”).

About Our Advertisers and the Listings and Adverts

Pets Allowed does not recommend, guarantee the services or availability of, or have any financial or ownership interest in the businesses of the Advertisers.

Advertisers may list their basic details for free.

Pets Allowed publishes information on the site on an “as is” basis. Pets Allowed excludes all liability to you for any mistakes, errors or omissions on the site and is reliant on its Advertisers to provide accurate and current information. No reliance should be placed by you on the accuracy and currency of the information provided. Prior to your making a booking, reservation or special journey, Pets Allowed recommends that you contact the Advertiser to verify the details listed, and in particular to check the Advertiser’s current policy on Pets which may have changed since the listing was last updated.

We require Advertisers to advertise properties truthfully, fairly and accurately, and we take reasonable steps to remove advertisements from our site following any complaint from a user or another Advertiser. If you become aware of an inaccurate listing please contact us so that we may correct the error.

Any contract for the rental of any property or other services or products listed on our site is directly between an Advertiser and you and we are not a party to that contract. You agree to waive any claim you may have against us that is in any way connected with a dispute you have with another user of our site; and compensate us for any losses or liability suffered as a result of any claim against us by another user or any other third party as a result of your use of our site or in relation to your dealings with other users and third parties.

Your Details

Unless you are an Advertiser you do not need to register with us to use the main features of the PetsAllowed.co.uk site. However, you can register with your name and email address to access certain additional services such as the forums, feedback facility and competitions.

If you submit your contact details to us via the enquiry form on the website these will be passed to the relevant Advertiser to allow them to contact you directly. We do not pass your details to any other third party. For your additional comfort and protection we are registered under the Data Protection Act with registration number Z1874659. Our Property Rights and Links to Third Parties

The copyright, database rights, trademarks and design rights in the website and directory and in the material published on it belong to Pets Allowed or our Advertisers. All unauthorised extraction, copying or otherwise is prohibited. You may download material from our site to use our site for your own use only. You must not copy, transmit, modify, republish, save, pass off or link to any content or material on our site without our prior written consent.

Any links on PetsAllowed.co.uk to third party sites and resources are provided for your information only and are outside our control. We accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

Our Liability to You

We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by any intentional misuse of our site or the distribution of viruses or other technologically harmful material due to your use of our site.

If we are in breach of our terms and have not otherwise excluded or limited our liability to you, we will only be responsible for any direct losses you suffer as a result and to the extent that they are a foreseeable consequence of both of us at the time you use our site. Our liability shall not in any event include business losses such as lost data, lost profits or business interruption.

PetsAllowed.co.uk is an independent website portal and directory which allows owners and operators of UK-based pet-friendly businesses (hotel and holiday accommodation; pubs, restaurants and cafes; and visitor attractions) to list and advertise their services (“Advertisers”).

Membership

In order to list your business you need to be registered as a member and your business must be “pet-friendly” or allow dogs and/or other pets to visit or stay. When you first register we will ask you to read and agree to these Terms and Conditions for Advertisers. These Terms and Conditions for Advertisers also incorporate the Terms of Use and the Privacy Statement

Listing Types and Pricing

We currently have one listing type which is free.

Approval and Activation Process

To protect the integrity of the Pets Allowed directory all adverts are subject to our manual approval process prior to being activated. Approval of adverts and listings is in the sole discretion of Pets Allowed who retain full editorial control. Approvals are carried out in UK business hours on a strict first come first served basis.

Approval by Pets Allowed does not mean that we have verified the accuracy of the listing details – this remains the sole responsibility of you the Advertiser. Pets Allowed reserves the right to edit the text to ensure consistency and to improve usability and for search engine optimisation purposes. We may also use additional information sourced from your own website.

Accuracy of Your Information

Pets Allowed does not independently verify Advertiser information. By submitting a listing you warrant that the information, content and images you provide:

• are accurate and not misleading;
• are your intellectual property and do not breach the copyright or other intellectual property rights of third parties; and
• comply with all applicable laws, regulations and advertising codes.

In particular you warrant that the details relating to the pet-friendly nature of your business are correct and not misrepresentative of your actual practice. If your pet policy changes you agree to update your listing (and remove it if necessary) without delay.

If we become aware of your listing being inaccurate we reserve the right to deactivate the listing without prior notice to you. If we are forced to do this unilaterally we will not make any refund of payments made which might otherwise have been refundable.

Cancellation, Deactivation and Refund Policy

We provide an advertising service for businesses rather than a physical product. You are free to cancel or deactivate your listing at any time.

If you wish to cancel a listing please log in and deactivate your listing.

We reserve the right to remove your account if there has been no activity within 6 months following last deactivation.

Authority

You represent and warrant that you are fully authorised to publish the listing on Petsallowed.co.uk and you have full authority for the business whose listing you add, amend or update.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Pets Allowed in respect of all costs and damages relating to any third party claim (whether successful or not) made by third parties against Pets Allowed in relation to breach of third party rights.

Any contract you make with a user of PetsAllowed.co.uk in response to your advertising with us is directly with the user of our site. We are not a party to that contract. You agree to waive any claim you may have against us that is in any way connected with a dispute you have with a user of our site. You agree to indemnify us for any losses or liability suffered as a result of any claim against us by a user of our site in relation to your dealings with users of our site.

Site Availability

Although we will use all reasonable efforts to do so, we are unable to guarantee 100% availability of the PetsAllowed.co.uk website and cannot be held responsible for any losses suffered by you or your business as a result of any downtime.

Our Liability

We provide an advertising service to allow you to advertise your business services to users of our site. We make no representations or warranties regarding the capacity of any user of our site to do business with you.

To the extent permitted by law, we hereby expressly exclude all conditions, warranties and other terms which might otherwise be implied by statute, common law or the law of equity; and any liability for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage incurred by any Advertiser or user. This includes any liability for loss of income or revenue; loss of business; loss of profits or contracts; loss of anticipated savings; loss of data; loss of goodwill; wasted management or office time; and for any other loss or damage of any kind, however arising and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise, even if foreseeable.

We do not exclude our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, nor our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation or misrepresentation as to a fundamental matter, nor any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Changes

We reserve the right to update and amend these terms and conditions periodically. We will notify you by email of any such changes and you will be deemed to have accepted such changes by your continued use of PetsAllowed.co.uk.
