Description
The Lodge nestles beneath the Devil’s Bit mountain, so named because the devil was said to have bitten off the top of the largest peak after becoming enraged by his unruly goats. Legend has it that the peak was then spat out 30 miles to the south, forming what is now the famous Rock of Cashel.At Saratoga Lodge, we offer three bedrooms and the decor is traditional - books, racing memorabilia, comfy seats and a log fire in the sitting room - all creating a relaxed homely atmosphere. Our bedrooms are simple but inviting, with sleep-inducing beds.
Dinner is available on request, with home cooked food on offer using the best local produce, honey from the Lodge’s own bees and vegetables and herbs from the garden.

Directions
By Car
From Templemore, follow the R501 west towards Borrisoleigh. After two miles take a right turn signed towards the B&B. In another mile you will reach a T-junction, turn left and the Lodge is 200 metres on the left.
By Train
Take the train to Templemore Station. Saratoga Lodge is just a five minute taxi or car journey away. Call from the station and we will happily come and collect you.
By Ferry
We are just 3 hours from Rosslare, 2 hours from Dublin and 1.5 hours from Shannon ferry terminals.
By Air
Dublin and Cork Airports are just 2 hours away, Shannon just 1.5 hours.
